The rooms, though compact, are smartly equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a day filled with outdoor excitement. One particular advantage was the free self-parking availability, though we had to navigate a bit to find a spot close by due to limited space. The bar/lounge was a welcome touch, where we enjoyed a round of drinks while sharing our day's stories. While the ensuites showed signs of wear, they offered a clean and functional space-just what we needed for a relaxing stay. Despite minor housekeeping oversights, the hospitality from the staff and the hotel's central position made our golf getaway truly enjoyable. For anyone venturing to Southwell, I'd recommend the Crown for its blend of comfort and convenience, resonating particularly well with those of us who appreciate a good night's sleep before hitting the trails or the courses!
